Self catering house accommodation in Spain is a simple and easy way to enjoy the Spanish way of life in a truly authentic Andalucian village. We are situated some 35 minutes drive from Malaga airport and a short drive from Antequera, Loja, Granada and the tourist sites of El Torcal and El Chorro. Our house for rent is central to all of Andalucias greatest Spanish sites of interest and also close to the Costa del Sol as well as the Sierra Nevada ski slopes.

Andalucia and in particular, the area around the village of Villanueva del Trabuco is excellent for all sorts of outdoor pleasure pursuits, such as Para-Gliding, Horse riding, mountain biking and the most glories of hill and mountain walks as well as bird watching and the Ski slopes of the Sierras, in fact it's got the lot.

The town offers plenty of Bars & restaurants with a great choice of authentic andalucian cooking as well as international cuisine. In particular the Chivo (Kid Goat) Conejo con Ajo (Rabbit in Garlic) & a host of fish dishes and Paella (Rice) dishes. British food is also available from a very good English run bar/restaurant in the main square.

There are fiestas throughout the year with the main fiesta coming at the start of September. Semena Santa (Easter Week) is quite a big occasion and the town puts on a great display.

For a truly relaxing holiday you could not pick a nicer place to visit or a better place to stay.

The Church of Nuestra Sņra de los Delores

Villanueva del Trabuco is a farming community with the main income coming from the production of Olive Oil. The town has few monuments but the church of Nuestra Seņora de los delores is truly beautiful and well worth the visit as is the man made water feature at nearby Los Caņos.
